2017 is winding down! Time to look back at the Top Posts from 2017 here at Julie Measures
2017 is drawing to close and it’s time to take a minute and think back about what the year has brought. 2017 was the first full year for Julie Measures (after previously having been Julie is Coco and Cocoa.) It was year full of travel, from Idaho Falls, Idaho to see family, Kansas City for the eclipse, and Lubbock, Texas for a work trip.
My word for this year was Lead. This year I have led knit and crochet classes, I’m currently leading a fundraiser, and I’m continually striving to lead my kids.
To finish out the year I wanted to take a look at the Top 10 Posts from 2017 here at Julie Measures.
Starting with number ten…
Movie nights are one of our top family activities. Here is how you can make your own Movie Theater inspired Popcorn at home and serve it in DIY Concession Boxes.
I love citrus flavored dishes, and can eat them anytime from breakfast to dessert. Orange and lemon might be more conventional breakfast citrus flavors, but I turned my love for Key Lime Pie into Key Lime Scones.
Waffles aren’t just for syrup at breakfast! Invite some friends over and serve them a Waffle Bar! I’ve got 3 different Waffle Bar Sandwiches for you to try.
I love making winter wear sets. Hats, gloves, and scarves that all go together. I was really excited to finish my crochet owl set by writing the crochet owl scarf pattern.
6. One-Hour Finger Knit Infinity Scarves
I love playing with yarn, but I know not everyone knits or crochets. That’s okay! Anyone can make these One-Hour Finger Knit Infinity Scarves. All you need is yarn and your fingers.
5. Friendsgiving Make and Take Party
Get-togethers are better with food and crafts. I turned Friendsgiving into a Make and Take party with DIY Scented Pinecones.
It makes me so happy that the first glove pattern I released is still a favorite.
3. Campfire Breakfast Burritos
We love to go camping. And with 3 boys it’s something we do pretty often. Keep breakfast simple and tasty with my Campfire Breakfast Burritos! PS, you could also make these over a fire pit in your backyard.
2. Slouchy Spiral Crochet Hat Pattern
These hats get the most compliments EVER. Quick and easy to make they look good on pretty much every single person who wears them.
1. Owl Hats!
Both the knit owl hat and crochet owl hat found lots of new fans this year.
Thank you to everyone for your support in 2017! I can’t wait to share more crafts, recipes, and patterns with you in the new year.
What was your favorite post from 2017? Did it make this years Top 10 List?
The owls are my favorite! Thank you for offering the patterns!
