Hi there! I’m Julie. And this is my blog Julie Measures. When it comes to measuring life, I like to measure in dozens of cookies baked, skeins of yarn knit, or miles traveled. At Julie Measures you will find food, crafts, travel, and fun. I always want the projects and experiences I share to feel like something you can accomplish.
My favorite recipes are ones that are short on ingredients but big on taste. I know that knitting or crocheting might feel intimidating at first, but as a self-taught crafter I know you can do it! I’ll show you step by step how to create your own projects and soon you’ll be acquiring your own yarn stash.
If you’ve been following for awhile, or even if you’re new, you might see my old blog name pop up from time to time, Julie is Coco and Cocoa. I have a sweet calico cat that my Oldest Twin named Coco. Or do we spell it Cocoa? How to choose? Seems fitting that I couldn’t choose a spelling when I struggle with picking any favorite. There are just too many foods/destinations/crafts/movies/television shows/songs/colors to pick a single favorite! But that’s okay, it inspired the name Coco and Cocoa.
