Dallas Arts District

July 23, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

The twins went out of town with my Mom, so my hubby and I decided to take the toddler and spend a day as tourists in the Dallas Arts District. We started at the Crow Collection of Asian Art, which we had never been to before. It's a small museum, but I was impressed with what they have. The museum is free to visit, but they do happily accept donations. There was a photography exhibit and a jade … [Read more...]

The great outdoors

July 16, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

(Next year they will go to 11-year old Scout camp.)It was tiring, but we all had a good week. The twins enjoyed shooting BB's and archery, they got to build a shelf out of wood, they learned how to set up a one-man tent, and they … [Read more...]

our summer schedule

June 15, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

The twins and I seem to do better in the summer when we have some sort of schedule. Not an elaborate one, but a general idea of what's going to happen each day. My Mom found this a couple of months ago on Pinterest and and sent it to me. I filed it away and then when summer started I showed it to the twins. They thought it was a great summer plan. We've been sticking to the plan so far and I … [Read more...]
