Cub Scout camp

July 3, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

The twins and I went to Cub Scout Twilight Camp last week. The twins are in the oldest group of Cub Scouts so this was their last year to attend Cub Scout camp. (Next year they will go to 11-year old Scout camp.)

It was tiring, but we all had a good week. The twins enjoyed shooting BB’s and archery, they got to build a shelf out of wood, they learned how to set up a one-man tent, and they cooked their first meal over a fire.

I just filled in wherever I was needed. I helped chaperone Bear and Wolf groups and I taught some crafts.

Now the twins are counting down until they go on vacation with my Mom in two weeks. And I’m trying to keep them happy until then.
