Capturing Memories – End of the School Year

May 13, 2015 by Julie 18 Comments

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Walmart Family Mobile. All opinions are mine alone. #MobileMemories #CollectiveBias I am always a mix of emotions at the end of the school year. Looking forward to lazy mornings and no homework. Apprehensive to leave behind the teachers we've made relationships with this year. The end of the school year is always prime picture … [Read more...]

Lip Sync Battle Birthday Party

May 12, 2015 by Julie Leave a Comment

My Middle sister and I have had a long running joke about her 30th birthday card. Specifically, that it needed to include this Mother Goose rhyme. Their speech was hard for strangers, and sometimes family to understand, but not technically enough of a delay to qualify for speech services. And I wasn't the only one frustrated, their teachers were as well. When they finally … [Read more...]

Mother’s Day Yarn Bomb

May 5, 2015 by Julie Leave a Comment

I crocheted a couple dozen flowers. Added button centers. And attached them to green wooden stakes with floral wire. (I shared some of my yarn bomb preparation HERE.) I put the kids and the flowers in the car and we headed off to deliver our Mother's Day yarn bomb. We left groupings of flowers all over my Mom's and my Mother-in-law's front yard. Mainly I let Littlest put the flowers wherever … [Read more...]
