I am always a mix of emotions at the end of the school year. Looking forward to lazy mornings and no homework. Apprehensive to leave behind the teachers we’ve made relationships with this year. The end of the school year is always prime picture taking time. I documented all the beginning of the year firsts, and now I’m taking all the final pictures for this school year.

This year was Youngest Twin’s first year to be part of the Junior Cadet Corps program at his school. He had a lot of fun with the class. He got to march in two city parades. And he worked on discipline and organization. Once a week all year he wore his JCC uniform to school instead of his normal school uniform. There are still a few weeks of school left, but this week I washed his JCC uniform for the last time this year so he could turn it back in. Who knew I could get so emotional doing laundry. We had to take one more picture of his uniform before turning it in.

I sort of missed teacher appreciation week, so we’re going to do end of the school year gifts instead. Leather key chains will be headed to school with Youngest Twin before the end of the year.  Pictures of the keychains to send to Pops to say thank you for making the keychains for us.

And while I’m getting ready for Youngest Twin to finish out this school year, I’m also preparing for Littlest who will start Kindergarten in the fall. I got him all registered for school recently. I can’t believe how big he looks walking down the steps at his soon to be school.

Youngest Twin has been checking the calendar on his school districts app on his new Samsung Galaxy Avant, counting down the days to the end of the year.

I picked up his new Samsung Galaxy Avant at Walmart recently. The twins have been using Walmart Family Mobile phones for about a year now and we love it.

The Walmart Family Mobile service is $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 1G of 4G LTE data. Unlimited means no surprises for Mom. They can use their phone all they want and it’s the same great price every single time.

With kids, I think unlimited is the only way to go. They just don’t have the maturity to stay within an allotted amount. The Walmart plan is perfect.

My teenager is jonesing for a phone with unlimited texting as it drives him nuts to see the pay as you go phone use up his money. Definitely considering WFM for the future.

Walmarts plan is definitely the way to go for younger users–reality check–it is also pretty good for us oldsters as well!

It’s so important to stop and snap photos of the kids during the year, as they grow so fast! I had not heard of Wal-Mart’s mobile family service before.

My kiddos aren’t old enough for phones yet–but when that time comes, I will be looking into these for sure! I’m sold on the price for sure!

That’s fun that you got the pics to change like that on the post. 🙂 My son’s just in 1st grade. I know he’ll want a phone before we know it though. 🙂
