You’ve Been Elfed! Spread Christmas Cheer with Secret Santa Goody Baskets and a fun You’ve Been Elfed FREE Printable
How do you spread Christmas cheer? By giving goody baskets to friends and family near. This year I’m playing Elf and spreading cheer by leaving some cute gift baskets on friends front porches, ringing the doorbell, and dashing away.
For many years the kids and I have done a Twelve Days of Christmas Secret Santa activity, but this year we decided to play elves instead. I let everyone in our family pick a friend or neighbor for us to elf.
We picked up some cute baskets and filled them with all kinds of goodies including Christmas crackers, hot cocoa, cookies, and soft peppermints. For cookies I definitely recommend baking up a batch of these Mint Chocolate Chip cookies.
Of course what makes this an Elf Secret Santa are these fun printables!
You’ve Been Elfed Free Printables
The ‘You’ve Been Elfed’ free printables have two parts:
- ‘You’ve Been Elfed’ printable – this page has the game ‘rules’
- ‘We’ve Been Elfed’ – this is the sign your recipient can hang on their front door
Print both signs and put them in the basket for your delivery. The person you give the basket to can hang the ‘We’ve Been Elfed’ sign on their door letting everyone know their house has been visited. They can also make copies of the signs if they want to keep the fun going and spread their own cheer. (You could even include an extra copy of each sign if you’d like.)

The printables have a white background, and you can print them on the paper of your choice. I printed our signs on some gold paper to make them fun and festive. Once you’ve printed both signs, you’ll be ready to spread your own holiday cheer!
