light saber freezer pop holders

June 12, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

The kids all love eating freezer pops. But the twins always complain about their hands being cold. For a while now they have worn oven mitts to keep their hands comfy.Starting last summer I saw people making these fleece freezer pop holders. However, I am not a sewer and kept putting it off. Yesterday, the kids and I finally made some.I pulled out a bunch of fabric and let them cut out their … [Read more...]

wine cork board

May 31, 2012 by Julie 2 Comments

But I did take a break to make a *quick* and easy craft. Yarn wrapped twigs. I had a small ball of some variegated yarn leftover in some pretty blues and greens. I had the twins run around the yarn and gather up some sticks for me. I wrapped them up with a dot of glue at the … [Read more...]

Muumuu refashion

April 12, 2012 by Julie 9 Comments

My husband was understandably confused when he came home the other day and I was sitting in front of my sewing machine. As I'm sure you've noticed, I don't sew much. But I have had a couple project idea's floating around and since it's getting warmer there was one that I really was excited to try. Several weeks ago I saw a Muumuu refashion project. Yep, a muumuu. And it was really cute! I have … [Read more...]
