Cozy up with these Sweet and Salty S’mores Pops made with RITZ Crackers
When it’s cold outside there’s nothing more satisfying than something warm to eat. Or thoughts of cozying up in a warm blanket, maybe even next to a fire.
We have an outdoor fire pit at our house that we’ve enjoyed this year, but no fireplace indoors. However, you don’t need a fire to make these Sweet and Salty S’mores Pops.
You will need
- RITZ Crackers
- large marshmallows
- milk chocolate
- peanut butter
- lollipop sticks (optional)
Place the RITZ Crackers on an uncreased cookie sheet topped with the chocolate and then half of a large marshmallow.
Preheat your broiler and cook the s’mores for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Remove the cookie sheet from the oven. Spread a small amount of peanut butter on another one of your RITZ Crackers and place it on top of each marshmallow.
I moved my s’mores to another plate to cool and inserted the lollipop sticks at this point. But turning your sweet and salty s’mores into s’mores pops is optional. You might want to eat them right away!
While my pops cooled I wrapped my RITZ Crackers box with some plaid wrapping paper. Gives it a nice cuddly look and it makes a great display for the finished pops. I used a ruler to mark out 16 evenly spaced holes on my box and then poked holes through the paper and the cardboard.
Once my Sweet and Salty S’mores Pops were cooled (and a little more firm to hold the sticks) I could insert them into my wrapped box.
Finger foods are my favorite recipes for holiday get togethers. They’re easy to serve and easy to eat. I got everything I needed for my s’mores pops at Walmart.
Don’t the s’mores pops look so cozy in their plaid display box?! I love the sweet and salty combination of the chocolate and RTIZ Crackers.
