1. Have you ever played the “I’ve Never” game? Where people take turns saying things they’ve never done? I always had a great one. An ace in my back pocket. For 30+ years I had never had a cavity. It now seems my teeth are making up for lost time. I’m getting a couple cavities filled tomorrow. It’s fair to say that I have been obsessing about it since I went in for my x-rays last week.
2. I spent Saturday at my first ever blogging conference, SoFabU On the Road. It was exciting to finally meet some of my blog friends in real life. There were some great speakers and I took multiple pages of notes. We also managed to convince the executive chef at the Gaylord, where the conference was held, to open an Instagram account. The power that a room full of bloggers can wield.
3. My local handmade team is hosting our annual craft party on Friday. Last week we got together to make samples of this years craft, paper silhouettes on a wooden board. Mine is the giraffe. If you’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area come craft party with us on Friday! It’s a completely free event, North Texas M.A.D.E. will provide all of the supplies, with a photo booth and door prizes.
I’m jealous, I haven’t worked up the nerve (or the funds for that matter) to attend a blog conference yet so YAY for you!!!! I’m sure it was fabulous!!! I wish I was going to be in town Friday or I’d be at that craft event in a heartbeat, it sounds like so much fun. Have a good time!!!!!
