Have you ever felt like the “Odd Mom Out”? *Raising my hand* I might have the show for you.
I got a sneak peek at the new Bravo TV show Odd Mom Out. And it’s hilarious. Clear your calendar, invite some girlfriends over, and get ready to laugh.
Jill is the heroine of Odd Mom Out. She likes to swear and have underwear dance parties. But Jill lives on the Upper East Side where money is no object and the main concern of her peers is filling out applications for kindergarten private school, including having professional head shots taken. She is definitely the Odd Mom Out.
Thankfully for Jill she has a level headed best friend and a down-to-earth husband. They help her navigate the social scene, one awkward moment at a time.
While I don’t live on the Upper East Side like Jill does I have had plenty of my own “Odd Mom Out” moments. Feeling like you don’t fit in at playgroup, been there. Going to the gym where everyone else has on name brand gear and I’m, well, not. Yeah. Hopefully you get it. I think we are all the “Odd Mom Out” from time to time.
Which makes this is the perfect show to watch with your best girlfriends. Just check out the trailer and see for yourself!
And when you have your girlfriends over to watch the show, you’ll want to serve them a delicious drink. Might I recommend a Dirty Soda? If you’re not familiar with Dirty Coke’s/Dirty Diet Coke’s/Cherry Cokes/etc, allow me to introduce you.
Start with your choice of soda and a large glass filled with some crushed ice. I grabbed my quart sized mason jar to make sure there was room for all the deliciousness. Pour 2 tablespoons of either coconut syrup over the ice. (You could also go with vanilla syrup if you don’t like coconut.) Then squeeze the juice from the lime and drop in the rinds. Pour your choice of soda over the ice, syrup, and limes. Then there’s the ‘secret’ ingredient. A splash of half and half. Yep, trust me. It puts the Dirty Soda over the top. I also added a couple maraschino cherries to mine as well.
Make one for each of your friends, relax, and put on the show!
For some more drink idea’s try one of these…
And if you need a little extra help with those drinks, give Minibar’s delivery service a try.

That’s a feeling most moms could relate to. I know I’ve felt out of place with other parents on occasion. It’s good Bravo lets us know we can laugh about it.

There are certainly times in life when we’re a little uneasy, that’s for sure! It’ll be fun to watch the show make light of the situation!
