How to host a virtual movie night with friends! It’s easy for everyone to make this two ingredient golden mocktail drink

Movie nights are one of my favorite types of get togethers. One of my favorite memories with some of my friends was when the Twilight movies came out. Yes, they were silly and ridiculous, but that made it even more fun.

We bought tickets and arrived at the movie crazy early (when the first one came out our theater wasn’t doing assigned seats yet). In order to get good seats, and actually sit together, we showed up I think 2 hours before the movie actually started. We even brought snacks to eat in line while we waited! Would you believe there was another big group of girl friends right in front of us? It didn’t take long for everyone to introduce themselves and start sharing snacks. We chatted, sat near each other during the movie, friended one another on social media. And then saw every sequel together! See, movies bring people together.

Movie nights in person aren’t really possible right now, so my friends and I have started hosting virtual movie nights together once a week. There are a few ways to do this, including Netflix Party which has been our favorite. Everyone pours a drink, makes themselves a snack, and then we can watch and chat together in real time. Together even though we’re apart is becoming something I look forward to every week.

In honor of our virtual movie night I wanted to share a fun, and incredibly easy, gorgeous drink that everyone can make at home. It’s literally two ingredients.

Sparkly Golden Mocktail

Any mostly drink (For the more golden color I used s sparkling apple juice)
Edible Super Pearl Luster Dust

Mix approximately 1/4 teaspoon with 20 ounces of your drink of choice. Mix well and the liquid will swirl and become pearlized.

Depending on the drink you choose as your base you can pour the drink into a container, add the luster dust, and shake well to combine.

If you let drink sit for too long the dust will begin to settle. Just swirl it around to mix it back up.
