This is a big school year for my boys. Not only did we move so we are in a different school district, but Youngest Twin started high school this year and Littlest started 1st grade. (Of course Oldest Twin is also in high school, but we are still homeschooling so the transition hasn’t been as great).
And, to top it all off, we just transferred Littlest from his home campus to a magnet elementary school. It’s a fine arts and dual language academy. 1st grade is part of an immersion program, which means this year he gets a portion of his instructional day taught completely in Spanish. The first few days were a little overwhelming, but he’s settling in and I think it’s going to be an amazing year for him.
With all of this new knowledge they are acquiring at school I know that repetition is important. I really want to reinforce what they are learning at home. And learning through an app is perfect for my 3 boys who are all avid gamers and app users.

I also like being able to reward the kids with gaming apps for great school performance. Oldest Twin is really interested in Manga so How to Draw Manga Anime was a great app to get for him. They have lots of other gaming apps like Zootopia, Sonic Dash, Angry Birds Rio, Fruit Ninja, and other Underground “Best Sellers”.
And I like that the Amazon Underground catalog of 100% free apps & games is part of the Amazon Appstore. It gives me access to great content that I would normally have to pay for in “other” App and Play Store’s.
