Veteran’s Day Parade

November 12, 2014 by Julie Leave a Comment

Youngest Twin is participating in the Junior Cadet Corps at his school this year. And he got the opportunity to march with his JCC classmates in the Veteran's Parade in downtown Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Zoo in the fall

November 10, 2014 by Julie Leave a Comment

On Saturday my husbands company had their annual party at the Fort Worth Zoo. We've been to the zoo many times, but always in the summer. For me, Harry Potter is required fall/winter weather watching material. It's probably the fabulous scarves and hats. My sisters started me on the Harry Potter obsession. They read the books first and then loaned me their copies to read. (I have since purchased … [Read more...]

Exercise

October 2, 2014 by Julie 1 Comment

They say it takes 21 days to form a habit. Since it's been over a month I'm hoping that means that my exercise routine has become a habit. And I've already learned lots of things. Like when you take 5+ years off from doing any form of regular exercise you have to take things slower than you might want to. As an example, I started the Couch to 5k program and this week I'm on week 3. I had to … [Read more...]
