We’re doing a little apartment rearranging. Staying in our building but moving to a different floor and a slightly different apartment layout. Even a short distance move is a chance to redo some things, including the bathrooms.
I’ve really struggled with the boys bathroom. Right now their bathroom is also the guest bathroom. But when we move we are putting them in the ‘master bedroom’ that has the bathroom in the room. While it may sound a little odd it will actually be perfect. The master bathroom is smaller with less storage space. The guest bathroom has all the drawers and places to put things. So I’ll get a bathroom where I have room for all my products.
But I do want their bathroom to be organized. Which is exactly what their new toothbrush station will help with. Obviously the kids all have different toothbrushes. But mine also all have different tubes of toothpaste. Littlest still uses a kids toothpaste. Oldest Twin and Youngest Twin like different toothpaste flavors. That means three toothbrushes and three tubes of toothpaste for three kids.
The supplies for our toothbrush station are really simple, mason jars and paint markers. One color for each kid, they each picked their favorites.
I let the kids each design their own mason jar. Complete free range. I realize that might not work for everyone. Instead you could go with a similar design on each jar, perhaps in colors that coordinate with the colors already in your bathroom. Once the jars were painted I put them in the oven to help the paint set (using the same method as this mug).
Once the jars were set and cooled I could fill them with each kids toothbrush, toothpaste, and flossers.
One of the great thing about using glass mason jars is I can wash them as needed.
With the toothbrush station ready to go I just need to add some toilet paper and their bathroom is essentially ready to go. Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® with Cleanstretch® toilet paper has a unique construction that limits tissue ripping and separation. Perfect for my kids (and really my whole family). It is designed to be strong, flexible and soft for overall durable comfort.
I picked up a package of Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® during my last run to Walmart. It is both sewer and septic safe (pretty important when you live in a building with lots of other people). And meticulously crafted for maximum comfort and durability, because the best bathroom experiences are the ones you don’t remember.
How do you keep your bathroom organized? Let me know in the comments!

What a great idea! And the fact that the kids helped create them is even better! Love it! #client
