Simple Spring Welcome Wreath

April 4, 2013 by Julie 4 Comments

I had intended to show you the project I am making for my Mom today. But it's not done yet. So instead you get to see the easiest turn-around for my wreath so far. To recap, I have used the same white finger knit base to make a Love wreath (here), changed it to a Good Luck wreath (here), and then changed it again to an Easter wreath (here). Now Easter is over but it's just barely spring. So I … [Read more...]

Rice Krispie Treat Nests with M&M Eggs

March 26, 2013 by Julie Leave a Comment

I've been on a kick decorating with eggs and nests this spring. Easter wreath

March 21, 2013 by Julie 12 Comments

So same white wreath base that I finger knit back in February. For Easter I  have added some plastic Easter eggs and a 'Happy Easter' … [Read more...]

We've even had someone who found one already share a … [Read more...]

Speckled Plastic Easter Eggs and Faux Grass

March 12, 2013 by Julie Leave a Comment

With spring right around the corner I knew it was time to update my snowy mantel for something more springy. I saw a tutorial recently for 'faux grass'. She had snipped up some pine needles and used them as grass for some decorations. I thought 'I've got lots of pine trees in my yard, I can do that'! And so I did. Then I had also seen a tutorial for some beautiful speckled eggs. I loved the … [Read more...]
