DIY Easter Decorations

March 17, 2015 by Julie 36 Comments

Spring animals are my theme for this years Easter decorations. Starting with this fun bunny chalkboard. I used a chalk marker to trace the outline of the bunny and then we filled him in with chalk scribbles. His tail is a yarn pom-pom. It's really handy that Easter candy is color coordinated. We've got a pink bunny, blue bird, and yellow chick/duck. I divided up the various candy by color. Some … [Read more...]

Here's the mini pink bunny next to the regular size pink candy bunny. (The regular bunny is about seven inches tall.) While I've been on a bunny kick this year, I did also make a few crochet Easter eggs. These cuties will be my … [Read more...]

Bunny Kids Craft

April 15, 2014 by Julie 8 Comments

One final Easter craft with the kids this week. And continuing our bunny theme this year. I cut out lots of strips of spring patterned paper and let the kids glue them down onto a piece of manilla paper. Once we had all of our strips glued down we found a bunny outline online. I cut the bunny shape out of the paper and then we put it on top of our paper strips to reveal a colorful … [Read more...]
