For my birthday, I wanted a chocolate cake and a fruity cake. And birthday girl gets what birthday girl wants.
My desire for two birthday cakes and my anglophile delight in television culminated in one of my favorite birthday parties to date. (See details on my Great British Bake Off themed party here).
Lucky you, I’m going to share the recipes for the Showstopper Cake Competition! I dreamt of cake and made up the flavor/layer combinations in my sleep one night. The execution was every bit as good as I was hoping.
