Pineapple Centerpiece

coca cola gold pineapple

Ever since I first started to drive there has been a ‘radio’ rule in my car. I drive, I get to pick the music. With younger sisters this was strictly enforced. With kids of my own now I have become a bit more lenient and often let them vote on what we listen to. But anytime I’m driving around I love to have the music turned up.

Summer, in particular, always seems to be a big time for new music to be released. Catchy new tunes to sing along to make me want to put on my sunglasses, open the sunroof, and sing along. It’s even more fun with my sisters in the car. We still belt out the songs as loud as we can. Having a cold bottle of Coca-Cola Zero™ to share makes road trips even more fun.

Edible Pineapple Centerpiece

With dozens of songs with catchy summer themes, I can’t help but think about other summer treats like pineapples. I’m turning an empty Coke Zero glass bottle into an edible pineapple centerpiece with just a few supplies/ingredients.

Pineapple Centerpiece Supplies

  • Coke Zero glass bottle (empty)
  • gold wrapped candy
  • leeks
  • hot glue gun

Edible Pineapple Centerpiece

I started by hot gluing the gold wrapped candies around the bottom of the glass bottle. Keep gluing and working your way up and around the bottle until it is completely covered.

I’m using the tops of a leek for the stem of the pineapple. Trim the pieces and insert them into the glass bottle.

You can get Coke Zero bottles and all the other edible supplies you need at Brookshire’s. Plus, save on fuel or groceries just by shopping with a registered Thank You Card. Every dollar you spend earns one your point.

And make sure to download the Shazam App to get your Coca-Cola Share a Song and listen to great music this summer.

Create this Edible Pineapple Centerpiece for your next summer party! Your guests can eat a snack while they sip on their bottles of Coca-Cola.

I love this! I would like to make some for our 4th of July picnic but I am sure the chocolate would melt. Though this us Wisconsin and could be chilly.

Very cute and delicious centerpiece. I was an only child so by the time I started driving alone in the car, I was off to college. I didn’t have to fight anyone for the radio but with a teen son who loves to flip channels as I drive, now I do!

This is a very creative idea! My friend, who just recently got married, gave all her guests pineapple decorations as a keepsake from her wedding. Turns out pineapple symbolizes warmth, friendship and hospitality, which makes it a perfect summer party centerpiece!
