Our Normal

I realized not too long ago, when we were at my in-laws and Littlest asked for ‘normal’ ice cream, that we certainly play favorites at our house. Especially when it comes to food. Some examples, in a numbered list form:

1. ‘Normal’ ice cream = vanilla

For Littlest (and the twins) normal ice cream is just plain vanilla. It’s their favorite. They don’t even usually want anything on it. Youngest Twin was going out with some boys from church one night and they were going to get ice cream splits. He asked if it was okay to just get plain ice cream instead.

2. ‘Normal’ pizza = ham

When we order pizza Littlest always asks if we are getting ‘normal’ pizza. In this case, normal is ham pizza. (Though I prefer a nice veggie pizza if I get a chance.) I have mentioned our favorite pizza place, they tell me that they always know it’s me when I call and place my ‘normal’ order.  (Every once in awhile I do try to change things up. Keep them on their toes.)

3. ‘Normal’ toaster pastries = s’mores

If Littlest asks for ‘normal’ breakfast toaster pastries he wants the s’mores flavor. Though, out of the three, he is the most willing to stray on this one.

It’s no secret that I play favorites with my food, too. I certainly have my ‘normal’ breakfast. And once I find a great dish at a restaurant I tend to keep ordering it every time I go there.

So now I’m curious to know, what are your normal things?
