At my house, food is more fun in a mini version. It’s even more more fun when it’s served on a stick. And a mini food on a stick that you can also dip? I think that means these mini sweet rolls are about most fun you can have as part of your breakfast.

To start with I grabbed a couple packages of Pepperidge Farm Sweet Rolls and some 100% Florida Orange juice at Walmart.

Then it was time to miniaturize my sweet rolls. Each package comes with 4 standard size rolls. I unrolled each sweet roll and divided the dough into three equal pieces. Giving me a total of 12 sweet roll dough pieces.

Then, each sweet roll package is a specific flavor. I grabbed the Apple Cinnamon and the Pecan Caramel Sweet Rolls. The Pecan Caramel came with a package of pecans and a separate package with the caramel glaze. After I had unrolled my sweet rolls I added the pecan topping to the dough before rolling it all up together.

The preparation for the Apple Cinnamon Sweet Rolls was similar. That package came with two packages as well, an apple filling and then a sweet glaze. I added the apple filling to my unrolled dough and then rolled it up.

Once my dough was rolled up they were ready to go into the oven. I baked mine for the lowest recommended time on the packages.

And they are ready to serve! To add a little extra punch I made a dipping sauce for the Apple Cinnamon Sweet Rolls. Mixing the glaze that came in the package with 1 tablespoon of orange juice. I served it in a small bowl along with the mini sweet rolls.

Then watch those mini sweet rolls disappear!

These would be so easy to serve at a brunch or shower. Valentine’s Day lands on a weekend this year and I think these would be perfect as part of a special breakfast that day!
