This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fresh Step. All opinions are 100% mine.

Kitty Cat Cookies are a fun way to celebrate your favorite feline!

You mean, you’ve never thought about cat litter and treats together before? Okay, that’s probably pretty normal. It also probably means you aren’t using Fresh Step Clean Paws for your cat.

We live in a cute 1950’s home. Cute also means small. And before living in our house we lived in an downtown high-rise apartment. With two cats I have to have a cat litter that ensures my home is still a welcoming place for family and friends.

Fresh Step Clean Paws features low tracking, which means both my cats paws and my floor stay clean. That’s great because my cats are super friendly and want to jump in the laps of everyone who comes over. Even with the low tracking feature, Fresh Step still delivers on my desire for odor control.

Fresh Step cat litter is such a treat for me and my cats that I thought I needed a little cat themed treat to celebrate. I made my Fresh Step purchase at Walmart, and while I was there I also got the ingredients I needed for some Kitty Cat Cookies.

Kitty Cat Cookies

I used sandwich cookies, white melting chocolate, a black edible marker, pink gel frosting, marshmallows, and some candy eyes.

Melt your chocolate according to the package directions and then dip the sandwich cookies into the chocolate. Place the cookies on some wax paper and let them harden.

Once your cookies have hardened you get to decorate them! I added pink noses with my gel frosting. Then I used my edible marker to draw on whiskers. Add your candy eyes and you’re nearly done. The last step was to cut my mini marshmallows on an angle to create triangle shaped ears.

I think my cat Coco approves of the Kitty Cat Cookies! We can have our cat loving friends over to celebrate and enjoy our cat cookie treats.

Thanks to Fresh Step Clean Paws we all get a treat!
