Fuel for your day

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have a confession. I love oatmeal. Sadly, my body doesn’t. (In the past few years I have developed a weird oat intolerence.) Which is really a bummer, because these new Quaker Soft Baked Bars look delicious.

I used to eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast everyday. My favorite was to get the box of instant oatmeal with the different flavors. The Cinnamon and Banana Nut Bread were two of my favorites. So what flavors do these new bars come in? Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread, of course.

This new snack bar is made with real fruits and nuts. You can either eat the bars straight from the package or you can warm them up in the microwave. Doesn’t that sound delicious? Additionally, the bars only have 140 calories and they have 5 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. Which makes them not only a breakfast snack but a wholesome food as well.

The twins love an on-the-go type breakfast and I think these would be perfect for them. (And the toddler likes to eat whatever his big brothers eat.) They all love cinnamon flavored breakfast items so I think that’s what we’ll be trying first!

Have you tried the new Quaker Soft Baked Bars? What did you think?
