Crochet Flower Applique Onesie

June 28, 2010 by Julie Leave a Comment

I’m always looking at trends and trying to figure out how to translate them to my particular craft. I’ve seen lots of applique onesies around. Friends make them, there tons of cute ones at Etsy, and all the craft shows that I go to. And even though “I don’t sew” I know that I could sew those. But then I thought, what if instead of cutting out fabric and appliquéing that, I crocheted something to applique?! And that’s how I came up with this flower applique onesie.

This was a lot of fun to make. Now I’m busily working on a boy one. And I will try to have both styles listed in the shop soon.
