For the first time, all of my kids are heading back to school this fall. It will potentially be our busiest back to school season yet. Three kids. Three different schools. Oldest Twin will start his 3rd year of homeschooling with me. Youngest Twin starts his last year of middle school. And Littlest starts kindergarten. And as the cherry on top, it is my last semester working towards my bachelors degree.

While I am not emotionally prepared to send Littlest to school I am trying to get ready. Starting with school uniforms. In our district kindergarten through 8th grade can wear navy or white collared shirts to school. I tried a mixture of white and navy shirts when Youngest Twin started 6th grade, our first year in this school district. The white polo shirts did not last very long. Now it’s a navy shirt, every day. I will stick with that plan for Littlest. While he isn’t too excited to start school he does like the idea of wearing the same thing that his older brother will be wearing.

Another way I’ve worked on to get Littlest excited about school is telling him that he gets to help pick out all of his school supplies. From his backpack to his lunch box. He is also really excited about what I will be packing in his lunch. He has his standard lunch box menu all planned out.

My biggest back to school worry is keeping everyone healthy. More kids in school, and kids in two different schools, means more germs than ever for back to school this year. With homeschooling Oldest Twin, and going to school myself, there is no absolutely no time to be sick.

To keep the germs at bay, I stocked up on some Clorox Disinfecting Wipes when I was at Target this week. Clorox Disinfecting Wipes remove germs, bacteria, kitchen grease and countless other nasties that might be lurking in your home. These wipes are a multi-surface, multi-mess, all-in-one wipe! And it’s easy to have Youngest Twin use one to wipe out his lunchbox every day. We are big on recycling, our apartment has a recycling bin in the basement, and I was really excited when I found out that regular Clorox Disinfecting Wipes canisters are made from recyclable number 2 class of HDPE.

In a cruel twist, my semester starts before the kids start school. But for most of the students at my house, school starts in exactly one month. I’ve got school supply lists that I’m starting to tackle. I’m also starting to work on lesson plans for Oldest Twin. And we are packing in a few more weeks of summer fun. Next on our summer to-do list is hanging out by the pool.

While you are shopping back to school, you might also want to grab a canister for your child’s classroom, too. A great back to school gift for the teacher and students!

What are your secrets for keeping your home clean and the germs away?

Wow, you’ve got a lot of school going on in your house! And lots of school means lots of possible colds and flus. We keep Clorox Wipes around all the time, too…nice and easy way to keep us healthy! #client
