{Halloween Donuts} Zombie Eyes for breakfast

October 21, 2014 by Julie 10 Comments

Honestly, I’m usually a wimp when it comes to zombies. But these zombie eyes are exactly the kind of fun food that I can get excited about.

Powdered sugar donuts are one of my guilty pleasures. Thankfully, I hardly ever buy them. Also thankfully, my kids gobble them up when they are around, leaving none to tempt me.

To turn these into zombie eyes I started by adding some red frosting. I even bought a pouch of red frosting. You could probably also use a food marker, but I haven’t tried that. Then I added a colored candy piece to the center of each eye. Ta-da!

Halloween donuts, a perfectly creep breakfast.
