Another month another format for our book club discussion. This time Kara and I did a voice recording. And other than me forgetting you can’t hear when I nod my head yes, we had a great time chatting about Wuthering Heights. Listen for yourself:
A few post show notes and links
- That’s my parents dog Chief barking his head off at the beginning of our chat.
- I’ve decided Wuthering Heights is a book that gets better the more you read it. I’m rereading it and now I adore it. (Not that I didn’t like it the first read-through. I’m just liking it even more and more.)
- Poldark
- North and South (BBC)
Now it’s your turn, have you read Wuthering Heights? What did you think?
For March we are reading: An Unnecessary Woman by Rabih Alameddine
Future #CocoBookClub books include
April: Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte
I hope you can read along with us!

There are a million renditions out there as we mention, but here are the ones I’ve seen and enjoyed:
1970 – Timothy Dalton as Heathcliffe

1992 version with Voldemort aka Ralph Fiennes ((on Netflix))
