Get ready for cooler weather with some Starbucks copycat White Hot Chocolate! It’s easy to make at home with this White Hot Chocolate Sauce recipe.
Fall has arrived and with it my desire to indulge in copious amounts of hot chocolate. Even if the weather outside in Texas doesn’t quite say ‘cold’ yet.
Halloween often means lots of orange, but this year I’m putting together some fun Black and White Halloween Decor projects. And with that, I needed a Black and White drink worthy of some spooky Halloween fun. I’ve made white hot chocolate before, but this time I’m changing things up just a bit.

To really make this a black and white hot chocolate for Halloween, I decided to make some fun ghost stir sticks.
Ghost Stir Sticks Supplies:
- Thin black cloth
- White heat transfer vinyl,
- Fusible web
- Wooden sticks or paper straws
Cut your fabric into 2.5″ circles, you’ll need two circles for each ghost stir stick or straw. Use your vinyl cutting machine, or cut my hand, 2″ ghosts. Apply your heat transfer vinyl ghosts to one of the black circles (I ironed mine on). Then cut a 1.5″ circle of fusible web. Now it’s time to put the ghost stir sticks or straw toppers together.
For the stir sticks layer a blank piece of black fabric, the fusible web, the wooden skewer, and top with the black fabric that has your ghost on it. Iron everything to fuse it all together.
For the ghost straws you will need to cut the fusible web in half to make a gap for the straw. Again layer a blank piece of black fabric and the fusible web. Now place half of the fusible web on one vertical side and the other half on the other vertical side, leaving a gab in the middle for your straw. Top with the black fabric that has your ghost on it and iron everything to fuse it all together. If you want you can have your straw in the center when you iron to make sure it’s the perfect fit.
