My text messages are generally full sentences, no abbreviations, and contain punctuation. Unless I’m texting my kids. Then it might be a string of emotions with no words at all. We have a dedicated group text between me, Oldest Twin, and Youngest Twin where I send them funny cat videos. A few weeks ago there was a storm in the middle of the night. Did my children come into my room to talk about the weather? Nope. They sent me a text. From their bedroom. And then they checked the weather radar and went back to sleep.
I love that they are proactive in their problem solving. Have a question? Look it up. No matter where you are. Car rides are when Littlest seems to ask the most questions. It’s handy when his big brother is next to him and can look things up for him. Youngest Twin is loving his new Samsung Galaxy S5 that we got at Walmart. He thinks the finger scanner is really cool. And now he comes home from school and tells me how far he’s walked throughout the day because his phone keeps track of the data. I’m really excited that the phone is dust and water resistant. And I’m loving the newly launched Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan featuring Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE data every month per line for $49.88. Faster data means we can answer questions as quick as Littlest can ask them. PLUS we’re getting a free movie on VUDU ($7 value).

Of course we’re not just looking up questions. The boys are streaming their favorite shows and videos in the car, at Grandmas house, wherever we happen to be. Youngest Twin is even able to use his phone at school. They do have WiFi access at their school, but he told me that he always uses his 4G LTE because it’s so much faster.
And they’re using their imagination. Looking up pictures to build all kinds of things. Littlest is obsessed with things that fly right now. His big brothers help him look up pictures to use as models.
I’m really excited for family movie night and watching one free new release rental movie on VUDU each month. Gathering everyone around the television and popping a lot of popcorn. Littlest requires his own bowl, he doesn’t like to share food.
What would you do with more data?
