Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

July 27, 2015 by Julie Leave a Comment

Last week the kids and I ventured over to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History for a day of fun and some learning. The dinosaurs are always a big hit. Did you know that there is a State Dinosaur of Texas? There is, and it is the Paluxysaurus jonesi, which happens to be on display at the museum. (Which isn't as often as I'd like.) And visiting the art museums has long been a favorite date activity with my husband. This past Saturday my husband and I participated in a fun event at the Modern Art Museum in … [Read more...]

Downtown Fort Worth Summer Art Exhibit

June 3, 2015 by Julie Leave a Comment

This summer downtown Fort Worth is showing its wings. In four locations throughout the city they have installed sculpture pieces from artist Jorge Marín. Oldest Twin and I took a walk to explore all of the different sculptures. The exhibit, Wings of the City, runs from June through August 2015. The interactive piece is the wing sculpture in Sundance Plaza. … [Read more...]
