Spring Bunny Terrarium Centerpiece

I have always loved books. As a child I loved the Peter Rabbit books written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter. Perhaps that’s why I love rabbits! For a brief time we even had a pet rabbit.

If you’re bit familiar with the books, one important thing to know is that Peter Rabbit loves fruits and vegetables. So my Spring Bunny Terrarium Centerpiece focuses on Peter, his sisters Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, and his love of fruits and vegetables.

How to Assemble Your Spring Bunny Terrarium Centerpiece

Before Peter, as the centerpiece, can go into the terrarium, it needs to be a lush green environment for him. Fill the bottom of your terrarium with moss and some faux succulents.

Once the terrarium is filled with greenery you can add in Peter, standing on the moss.

In the original book Peter Rabbit loses his button, so I made sure to add a buttons to the terrarium.

Gathered around the terrarium is where I’m placing the other bunnies, my vegetables, and even a couple more buttons tossed in.

Some of the bunnies came holding carrots, and then I added in the eggplant, carrots, peas, radishes, and other faux vegetables with them.

I also used some more moss pieces around their feet and underneath the decor items.

It’s going to be a feast for all the bunnies!

There is one of the extra buttons floating around the centerpiece.

A spring garden is a tradition at our house and I loved the idea of incorporating fruits and vegetables into my spring centerpiece.

This centerpiece will look beautiful down the dining room table or along a mantle in your home.

I like that they are based on the movie-versions, which I very much enjoyed.
