Red Raspberries filled with White Chocolate

February 5, 2015 by Julie Leave a Comment

raspberries filled with white chocolate

I’ve been trying to fill our refrigerator and counter tops with lots of fruits and veggies. Last week I bought a carton of blackberries and Littlest practically inhaled them. Since I knew we would be talking about the letter R this week I made sure to grab some red raspberries. While they taste great on their own, adding a little chocolate never hurts either.

This is some more of the while melting chocolate that I used last week for our edible Q-tips. That and the raspberries are essentially our only ingredients. I melted the chocolate and then poured it into a sealed top bag. I snipped one of the corners on the bag to make it easy to squeeze the chocolate into the raspberries.

I discovered that placing the raspberries in a muffin tip helped to stand them upright and made it easier to pour in the chocolate.

While I’m sure these would taste great with a milk or dark chocolate as well, I really liked them with the sweetness of the while chocolate.

I also grabbed some red strawberries at the store and drizzled some white chocolate over them as well.

With Valentine’s Day coming next week these would make a great treat for someone special!
