Pretty in Purple

January 7, 2011 by Julie 3 Comments

I can count on one hand how many times I have dyed my hair. I’m not sure why. It’s not like I don’t like my natural hair color. I really like it. But dying your hair is fun. Especially when it’s the semi-permanent kind that washes out. So after I got my fun new haircut, I decided for a fun new (temporary) color! I discussed with my sister and decided to go for red. I got a box of Natural Instincts Cinnaberry and went for it.
Unfortunately it didn’t come out quite the color the box said it would. It’s purple
and only shines red in the light.
But it only lasts for a month and I still think it’s pretty fun.

It’s not purple, silly! It just grabbed that red really tight, didn’t it?? Looks good, tho! I love that color 🙂

Ah jeez, I’ve been there with the purple hair before. Give it a few washings and it should lighten up. It looks good though. I didn’t recognize you when I saw the profile pic on Facebook.

I was hoping to show it off at the EFW meeting this week, but ended up at home with a sick child.
