Pinterest week! {bunting}

Bunting (or pennants) can be such a fun, and pretty easy, way to decorate. For the display I made some really small bunting.

Mine is sitting there on the table.

I picked three coordinating fabrics, a striped print, an argyle print, and some brown corduroy. I made a pattern out of cardboard (not pictured) and traced it to cut out my fabric. I also ironed my fabric pieces flat.

I didn’t want to sew anything for this project so I made mine so I could just fold the pieces in half over my string. I simply hot glued them closed.

I attached the string at each end to a wooden skewer and put them in some glass bottles. Here they are in the windowsill in my kitchen.

Other bunting idea’s that were on display included this chevron pennant tutorial

    I love the idea of using a glue gun for that bunting! That is my kind of short cut!!! Thanks for linking! 🙂

      Thanks! I’m not much of a sewer, I work better with hot glue 🙂
