We love pizza. In fact that might even be an understatement. It’s a weekly staple in our house. And these pepperoni pizza cups are my new favorite way to make it at home.
Pepperoni Pizza Cup Ingredients
phyllo dough or wonton wrappers
marinara sauce
Hormel Pepperoni Pizza pieces
toppings of choice (I used chopped onions and green peppers)
shredded mozzarella cheese
a muffin tin
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place one folded sheet of phyllo dough or one wonton wrapper into the bottom of a muffin tin.
Bake for 5 minutes.
In each cup put 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce.
Then add your choice of toppings (for me the green pepper and onion).
Add a good pinch of shredded cheese (fill to the top of the cup).
Top with your pieces of pepperoni.
Bake for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
Here we are in action making our pizza cups!
I love recipes that pull double or triple duty. I am happy to say that this is one of those. Serve these for lunch, an appetizer, or even part of dinner.
And with spring and warmer temperatures right around the corner I love how quickly these cook up. (Not too much time spent standing near a hot oven.)
Of course, who am I kidding. I love a quick meal year round. I also love that the kids can help make these. And that they can personalize their own cups by putting in just the ingredients that they want. Littlest and I love olives on ours, the twins want extra cheese, and my husband wants extra extra pepperoni.
Once they are finished baking just serve them and watch them disappear!

We make these all the time and they always go over big with the kids π
They were so quick and fun to make! I think I’ll be making them often
These pizza cups are so cute! They are great finger foods for parties!
Yes! You could even make them in mini muffin tins to make them bite sized!
Great little yummy pizza cups! These look like They would be a great appetizer!
Thanks! I definitely think I’ll be serving these as an appetizer soon!
These are so adorable and they look delicious!
I’m not sure why, but my kids adore any food that’s mini. Mini pizzas, mini corn dogs, mini muffins. I know these pizza cups would be a hit.
Mine, too! Of course I’m also partial to mini food as well π
Those look amazing! I love how you use phyllo dough for the cups.
Thanks, Michelle! They work great with either the phyllo dough or the wonton wrappers!
I could definitely make these–very easy!! And I do love pepperoni especially on pizza. I rarely buy the bags of it but if I did I would probably just eat it right out of the bag alternating with pieces of cheese and maybe a Ritz cracker or 10.!
Thanks, Michele! It’s possible I bought one bag for the pizza cups and one bag for us to eat plain π
These look delicious! And easy too!
xo, Alice
Thanks, Alice! Delicious and easy is the best combination, isn’t it?!
These are perfect for parties. I think I need to have a party tonight so I can enjoy them! π
I had the same thought, I need to host another party so I can serve these!
I am unfamiliar with phylo dough. Where do stores typically have it?
It’s in the freezer section. My grocery store had it near the desserts.
These look so delicious! Easy and very kid-friendly. π
Thanks! And yes, these were so easy to serve the kids!
YUMMY. I have problems with getting phyllo dough to work right, but I will try again!!
Thanks, Lynne! Phyllo dough can be a bit temperamental. I did follow the directions on my box for putting some plastic wrap and a damp towel over the dough I wasn’t actively working with. For these I folded the dough in half and then thirds before putting it into the muffin tin.
Those look delicious! Can’t wait to make them with the kiddos!
Thanks, Kim! I hope your kids love them!
I could definitely make them disappear like that too. They’re just the right size to satisfy!
It was amazing how fast they disappeared! Thanks, Liz!
These look like the perfect mini version of a favorite of mine! I love the gif
It was so nice to be able to make mine just how I wanted it with toppings! Thanks!!
That’s a fun way to use your pepperoni. I have a teen in the house who could eat a whole pkg. of pepperoni if I’d let her. She’d love this recipe.
That sounds like my teen, too! Thanks, Rosey!
Looks amazing! My 2 year old only just discovered pizza, but mama isn’t ready to give her entire slices so we’ll have to try this.
Thanks, Moni! And mini versions are great for toddlers!
One thing I can always get my kids to eat? PIZZA and this is so great!! Thanks for sharing!
Right?! Gotta love a meal everyone eats without complaining π
Aren’t these so fun?! I made something similar for my husband when he had the guys over – but I did mini tacos!
Mini tacos would be fun! We’re gearing up for some March Madness watching and I’ve got a couple new recipes in the works π
These would be such a hit in my house. I will be giving them a try, thanks for posting them.
Thanks, Karissa! Hope you love them!
Mmmmmm you had me at pepperoni pizza! Those look so tasty!
Thanks, Kristin! Hope you have a chance to give them a try π
These look AMAZING! I can’t wait to try them – repined for later!

These look delicious and fun, especially for a kids party or march madness! Can’t wait to try the recipe!
These would be perfect for March Madness! Hope you love it!
These look super tasty, and I love the “cup” idea. I bet I can even make a low carb version for the hubs. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks, Donella! Having them be already in a serving portion was really handy π
How fun – I know the kids would love making these, which means they might actually eat them!!
Mine do better when they ‘help’ with the meal, too! Thanks, Alison!
Yum! I love any and all things pizza, so I’m going to have to make these for my daughter one day! π
We’re pretty pizza crazy π Thanks, Natalie!
What a great idea. I bet my kids would enjoy this. I’ve never bought wonton wrappers before and would not have thought to make a pizza out it. Great thinking…and good eats, I’m sure.
They are so convenient! Happy Friday π
These look so good! Love the idea of small sized, finger friendly foods! Thanks for sharing your recipe. #client

We LOVE mini-pizzas around here–the idea that everyone can personalize with their favorite toppings makes dinner EASY–though we all love pepperoni!
Thanks, Melissa! A dinner where everyone is happy is the best kind of dinner π
I love pizza anything and I would have never thought to make it with this crust. I love this idea and feel like I could totally do this myself!
It was really simple to make! And the crust was nice and flaky π Thanks, Caitlin!
