Driving around to look at Christmas lights is one of my most favorite holiday traditions. While we always pick at least one night to leisurely drive and look at lights I also find myself taking little side streets through neighborhoods to see as many lights as I can all month long. The kids really like looking at the lights as well. I even caught the twins snapping some camera pictures with their new LG L90 phone that I got at Walmart (I’m a major fan of their Unlimited Talk Text and Data plan for the twins).

 

 

Now that the twins are 13 they are starting to have (and use) their own social media accounts. Youngest Twin is working on mastering the art of the selfie. He thought the Santa hat added a nice touch.

 

 

And then he updated his profile picture. They have also been having fun sharing all of the holiday pictures that they have been taking. I have even had them use their phone to take pictures of potential Christmas gifts to send to grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Easier than a paper list and no chances of someone getting the wrong thing. (They still harass me for buying the wrong kind of Star Wars walker for them for Christmas one year. Who knew there were so many different kinds?!)

 

 

Oldest Twin is keeping track of our holiday tradition check list. He’ll make sure we don’t miss anything important. Having them keep a checklist is actually handy all the time. And they are more likely to keep up with a list (or calendar) on their phone than if I put it anywhere else.
