It’s still a zillion degrees outside, but summer is starting to wind down around here. The kids go back to school in just under two weeks. And while I have thoroughly enjoyed our slower paced summer, it has been way too easy to eat carelessly and not on any sort of a schedule. It is definitely time to work on getting back on track.

That starts with amping up my breakfast routine. I’m making protein packed chocolate fudge crepes with EAS Myoplex. One of my fitness goals is to build more muscle that in turn burns more calories. Win-win. EAS Myoplex can help anyone looking to build new muscle, recover from workouts, or maintain existing muscle tone.

Don’t be scared, crepes are super simple to make. These protein crepes are just 4 ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups EAS Myoplex
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt

If you have a crepe pan, great. If not, neither do I. Just heat a skillet to medium low heat and spray your pan with some non-stick spray before each crepe.

Using my metal measuring cup I measured out 1/4 cup for each crepe. I also used the back of the measuring cup to help quickly spread out the crepe. You want your crepes to be nice and thin. Cook the crepes for about 1 minute on each side.

I’m filling my crepes with fresh fruit. Some fresh sliced bananas, strawberries, and whole blueberries. That’s it, no other filling but the fresh fruit.

Wrap up the fruit in your chocolate crepe and they are ready to eat! Simple and delicious. Two of my favorite words.

EAS Myoplex fruit crepes

I picked up the EAS Myoplex at Walmart. While it comes in several flavors I went with the Chocolate Fudge for these crepes. But I bet any of the flavors would be great.

When combined with an active lifestyle EAS Myoplex can help you reach and maintain your muscle building goals. So I’m going to eat up!

After reading the book, “Why We Get Fat and What to do About it”, I’ve started eating the way the book directs and I’ve effortlessly lost over 40lbs since Feb. 1. It’s really frustrating and exciting to find out about our healthcare system and how we’ve been lied to, but on the other hand, it really gives you the knowledge to back up a healthier way of life, you know? I need to add weight training back into my life, but . . . Yeah, I have no excuses, I just need to do it! These crepes look DELISH! #client
