Fall in {Leaf} Wreath

September 10, 2014 by Julie 7 Comments

Fall in love with cooler weather and celebrate with a new Fall Leaf Wreath A new season calls for a new wreath. With browns, reds, yellows, and oranges, my thought is that this wreath can take me right through to Christmas. (Of course I reserve the right to change my mind.) This is my finger-knit base (tutorial for finger knitting here). I criss-crossed some orange yarn over the top. … [Read more...]

M.A.D.E. Local

September 9, 2014 by Julie Leave a Comment

I'm crazy about things that are handmade and supporting local artists. This weekend was a combination of all those things. Which made it pretty perfect. Saturday was the M.A.D.E. We went with the intention of looking for a new coffee table and some lighting. They were sold out of the coffee table we liked. And we didn't get any new lighting either. I did get a new rug for the … [Read more...]

Fall It Up with Mason Jars and Popcorn

September 2, 2014 by Julie 14 Comments

Decorate for all with Mason Jars and Popcorn Fall doesn't technically start for a few more weeks. But I did bake my first batch of pumpkin cookies this weekend. The mason jars in my little display area were still filled with red and blue stars and looking very summery. With Septembers arrival I thought I could give it a little fall makeover. To turn them into fall mason jars, I filled … [Read more...]
