Fall in {Leaf} Wreath

September 10, 2014 by Julie 7 Comments

Fall in love with cooler weather and celebrate with a new Fall Leaf Wreath

A new season calls for a new wreath. With browns, reds, yellows, and oranges, my thought is that this wreath can take me right through to Christmas. (Of course I reserve the right to change my mind.)

This is my finger-knit base (tutorial for finger knitting here). I criss-crossed some orange yarn over the top. Then I added some fabric leaves. I used three different leaf patterns, and cut half of the leaves out of a leaf print fabric and half out of some duck cloth.

Then I hot glued the leaves together and to the orange yarn on the wreath.

I put the welcome bunting back on and it’s ready for my front door.

You can see last years fall wreath here.

Thanks! And you can definitely make your own! Though winning one would be fun, too 😉

This is so pretty. I’ve been making wreaths myself but, love yours. Pinned & shared. Hope to see you again at this week’s party.

[…] How do you turn a fall wreath into a Halloween wreath? Add a bunch of spiders. (You can see the original fall wreath HERE) […]
