Always Seek Knowledge Notebook Paper Canvas DIY

August 26, 2014 by Julie 2 Comments

Our back to school motto? Always Seek Knowledge

School started yesterday. I have two big 7th graders. One is off to public school and with the other I am starting our second year of homeschooling.

Last year, since it was our first year, we started things off by picking a school name (we call our school G Academy). Then we picked our mascot (a giraffe). And we thought of lots of ‘G’ words to describe our school.

This year, I wanted to start our year with a motto. Our motto for the year? ASK – Always Seek Knowledge.

The supplies for this craft were pretty simple. A canvas (mine is 9×14), three markers, and a ruler.

I started with the red line on the left side of the canvas, it is 1 1/2 inches from the side.

Then I started with the blue lines. The top blue line is two inches from the top of the canvas. Then each of the remaining blue lines are 1 inch apart.

Once the notebook paper canvas was finished it was time to add our motto!

It’s the perfect addition to our school area.

I think it would also make a great gift for any teacher!
