a good weekend

It’s funny. There have been some really hard moments with the kids the last few days. But there have also been a lot of good moments. And when I look back on the long weekend as a whole, it’s the good ones that win out.

We had a good thanksgiving at my parents. I know I already posted about the pies (and there are more of them in the picture) but we had other good food as well. Some of our traditional items include deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, and corn casserole.

I got my hair cut! It’s been months (and months) since I’ve even had a trim. She actually didn’t take a lot off the length but she added a lot of layers. It feels a lot better, and the natural wave in it is showing a lot better. I’m really loving it. I was excited to fix it when my husband and I went on a date on Saturday. We went and saw the new Lincoln movie and we both really liked it.

We took some new family pictures this weekend! It’s been a few years since we’ve had family pictures taken and I’m really excited.

This navy cardigan was from my Nana’s house, and it is one of my favorite pieces of clothing. It ended up being a little cool on Saturday so I wore it for our pictures.
