Visitors!

September 3, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

My youngest sister and her husband are here visiting over the holiday weekend and it’s been so much fun to see them.

We did a big family dinner on Thursday when they arrived. (No pictures of that.) Then Friday was another family dinner for my brother-in-laws birthday. His parents invited everyone over to their house to celebrate.

The twins enjoyed their first game of croquet

The toddler wanted to play, too

Saturday we took our own little herd and went to the zoo

Lots of fun animals at the zoo

The toddler really liked the penguins and the tiger

The twins aren’t very excited about having their pictures taken anymore

My middler sister kept joking that the bear wanted to eat us (he was pacing back in forth in front of us, stalking his prey.) We all loved the baby giraffe. (We saw a baby rhino, too, but couldn’t get a picture.) The zebra was the last animal we visited and he came over to say hi to us.

We have a few more family activities planned before they leave. I’m really enjoying their visit.

Aw, that looks like so much fun. Makes me want to go to the zoo. I haven’t been since about…1997. haha.

It had been a few years since the last time I had been to the zoo! This was the toddlers first trip and he loved it. Made me think about getting a membership.
