strawberry limeade

July 26, 2012 by Julie 1 Comment

A couple of weeks ago I posted a recipe for homemade lemonade. From that same recipe I also tried my first attempt at some homemade limeade (simply substitute lime juice for lemon juice).

Fresh lime juice

Mixed with the sugar/water mixture

And poured into my glass with equal parts water. I also added in several sliced strawberries.

Honestly, I didn’t like this much before I added in the strawberries. And I still don’t think it’s as good as what I can get at a restaurant. (The homemade lemonade turned out much better.) But I’d like to try it again with some cherries.
