stocking cap ornament

I went to an ornament exchange this week, and I knew that I wanted to bring a handmade ornament with me. I looked at a few patterns, and saw several for mini Santa hats. I decided that instead of making a Santa Hat I would make a mini version of my stocking hat.

I went with the green, red, and white version

Here it is with a regular size baby hat in the background

I added a yarn loop and it’s ready to go on the tree

My sister came with me and I made sure that she brought a handmade ornament as well (she brought this pear ornament from Studio Longoria).

Now I’m thinking I need to make one for my own tree!
