DIY Sleigh the Day Gift

November 30, 2020 by Julie Leave a Comment

Sleigh the Day! Put together this fun gift for teachers, neighbors, and friends this holiday season.

Sleigh the Day

I cannot resist a good pun. And during the holidays Sleigh the Day has to be a favorite. I’m always looking for cute small gifts to give to teachers, neighbors, and as thank you gifts or hostess gifts.

Sleigh the Day

This year I put together these adorable Sleigh the Day gifts and I could not love them more. I can’t wait to tell everyone to Sleigh the Day this holiday!

Supplies

  • Cardstock sleigh
  • Jingle bell wreath ornaments
  • Glitter reindeer
  • Printed ‘sleigh the day’ phrase
  • Candy
  • Hot glue and glue gun

Sleigh the Day

The first step for making my Sleigh the Day gifts was to assemble my cardstock sleighs.

Sleigh the Day

Once the sleighs were put together, I was ready to make the jingle bell wreaths that go on the front of the sleighs.

Sleigh the Day

Everyone knows a sleigh should be led by Rudolph! So I attached a Glittery Rudolph Reindeer embellishment to the jingle bell wreath ornament with some hot glue.

Sleigh the Day

I printed out some ‘Sleigh the Day’ phrases and cut them out. These are best printed on cardstock. I used hot glue to attach the cardstock phrase to the jingle bell wreath.

Sleigh the Day

Then I could add the finished Sleigh the Day Rudolph wreath to the cardstock sleighs with more hot glue.

Sleigh the Day

To make these a teacher gift I just changed up the wording that I printed. Instead of Sleigh the Day I printed out some Teachers Sleigh the Day phrases.

Sleigh the Day

Assemble the Teachers Sleigh the Day sleighs the exact same way.

Sleigh the Day

The last step is to fill the sleighs! I filled these with an assortment of Christmas chocolate candy.

Sleigh the Day

Such a fun gift to give to all of my kids teachers this holiday.

Who will you give a Sleigh the Day gift to?
