reading to my boys

I feel pretty lucky that my kids love when I read to them.

The twins and I have been reading the Harry Potter series for awhile. We are currently on book 5. We like to all pile in my bed after I put the toddler to sleep.

The twins often take turns reading ahead of where I am reading to them. This book has been taken to bed many times.

And recently the toddler has gotten a lot better at sitting and letting me read to him as well. In fact when we get to the end of his train books he often says “again!”

And those aren’t short little books either.

His favorite book this weekend was this one, from a set my parents got him for his birthday last year

He calls it the “oops” book

And he giggles uncontrollably every time we read “oops”.

Which makes me giggle, too.

I’m so glad that my boys let me read to them.
