I was in the mood for dessert, but looking through my pantry didn’t inspire me. So I went to Pinterest and entered yellow cake mix (because I had one of those) to see what what would pop up.
How excited was I when I saw this!
I clicked on the picture and got taken to the blog “The Girl Who Ate Everything” and the recipe for this delicious treat. The original recipe called for 12 oz of chocolate chips but I didn’t have any of those. I did have an 8 oz box of Baker’s baking chocolate squares, so that’s what I used. And no one, aside from me, in my house likes coconut so I skipped that. Here’s what I ended up using:
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars Ingredients
1 (18.25) package yellow cake mix
Butter
Peanut butter
2 eggs
8 oz Baker’s baking chocolate squares
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Vanilla
