jelly donuts

December 3, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

As each semester passes I realize that while I enjoy my classes, I have definitely picked a major that challenges me. I keep feeling like I’ve taken the hardest class so far. This semester, and my Business Statistics class, is no exception.

But the weekend wasn’t all work. Being an employee at The Shorthorn has some perks, including the chance to sample a new restaurant on campus a little early. I tried their shredded beef burrito bowl and it was wonderful.

We even got dessert. On the menu they are jelly donuts, but what they give you are these scrumptious little sugary donut holes that you dip into a bowl of jelly and eat.
So. good.
The twins were really excited about decorating for Christmas this year. My husband I helped them put the tree up but then they took over. Youngest twin put the lights on the tree and all the kids helped with ornaments. My husband put up the outside lights and garland.

I also took some time to go visit our church’s annual Nativity display. I really enjoy going every year.

Now it’s time to focus. This week is finals week and I’ve got tests to take and project to finish. 4 more days!
