Grandpa’s Stache for Father’s Day DIY

Grandpa’s Stache for Father’s Day DIY

My kids have a Pops, my Dad, and a Grandpa, my husband’s Dad.
Last week I celebrated the Best Pop’s in your life with a Father’s Day DIY (here).
This week it’s Grandpa’s turn, with a fun Grandpa’s Stache treat.

I found both the mustache paper and mustache mold (as well as the treat bags and candy wafers) at my local craft store.
I actually grabbed two flavors of candy wafers, the peanut butter flavor pictured and a dark chocolate flavor. Following the directions on the bag I made several, more than pictured, mustaches.
I thought it would be fun to have the two different colors in the jar.

I decided to put each mustache in a separate treat bag just in case they tried to melt and stick to one another.

Then I filled up the mason jar with the treats. I wrapped the mason jar in the mustache paper as well as a coordinating piece of fabric I had in my stash. And I wrapped some jute around the mason jar lid.

The top of the lid (not pictured) also has a circular piece of the mustache paper that I cut out and stuck on the lid. It has a handwritten tag that says “Grandpa’s Stache”.

Now it’s all ready to be gifted! And of course this could be changed to Dad’s Stache or Pops Stache, or really anyone’s Stache!
