Fall It Up with Mason Jars and Popcorn

September 2, 2014 by Julie 14 Comments

Decorate for all with Mason Jars and Popcorn

Fall doesn’t technically start for a few more weeks. But I did bake my first batch of pumpkin cookies this weekend.
The mason jars in my little display area were still filled with red and blue stars and looking very summery. With Septembers arrival I thought I could give it a little fall makeover.

To turn them into fall mason jars, I filled them halfway with popcorn kernels. I kept the burlap wrapped around the jars, but changed the yarn to orange. And I added some orange yarn pom-poms.
Plus a new fall printout in my frame to complete the display.

So cute! I like the corn, it totally reminds me of fall. The car is cute too, I want to get back into card making. Happy Tuesday!

Thanks, Leslie! I thought the popcorn would be a fun way to bring ‘corn’ into the decorations. And you should get back into card making πŸ˜‰

How cute! I just started browsing through my fall stuff today! I have a light blue theme going on around the house some some orange and red overhaul is about to go down and these pom poms are perfect to add some fall flair without breaking the budget!
